I am the founder of Otion Consulting, specializing in branding strategy and market positioning for companies expanding into the U.S. market. A graduate of ArtCenter College of Design, I have received 41 international design awards and built my career at the intersection of design, strategy, and brand development.

Over the years, I have helped launch and reposition numerous brands in both the U.S. and Korean markets—from brand development and market research to retail concept design and full turnkey openings. I believe the experience and know-how gained from launching many brands is our greatest source of trust.

Many organizations offer educational programs or limited consulting for overseas expansion. Our approach is different. We work with clients as true partners with shared interests, staying involved throughout the entire process. Whether the journey is smooth or challenging, we move forward together.

When brands enter the U.S. market, we often act as a "landing mat" for investors and partners, helping companies achieve a smoother and more strategic soft landing.

I also serve as U.S. Business Director at BS Future Strategy Institute, analyzing the investment potential of Korean companies and ideas, and as Korean Ambassador & hold Master Agreement at Plug and Play, speaking at LINC 3.0 Glocal, RISE program, and World Korean Business Convention (WKBC) on global market expansion. Also, serving as International Expansion Director at Unhyd Agency.

WHAT INSPIRED THE BUSINESS:

I experienced a major failure after launching a business without relying on real data or proper validation. That experience taught me a critical lesson: markets don’t respond to assumptions—they respond to validated data.

Since then, I’ve built a principle around testing small, validating quickly, and scaling with confidence. I also realized that success doesn’t come from trying to do everything alone. Working with the right experts in each area creates far stronger outcomes.

Based on this approach, I founded Otion Consulting and Koreans.io.

The goal is to introduce Otion Consulting and Koreans.io work together as a complete system for U.S. market entry and expansion.

While the two companies serve different roles, they are designed to function together as a complete path to success. Koreans.io focuses on early-stage exposure, validation, and connecting brands with buyers, partners, and investors. Otion Consulting then takes over execution—helping brands enter, operate, and scale in the U.S. market.

I want brands to understand that entering the U.S. is no longer a guessing game—it can be a data-driven, execution-focused process with the right system and partner.
